Our football season in the fall of 1970 was the first of Coach Robert Bohn's four year tenure at C.H.S. Coach Bohn
had come to Clearfield after serving in the same position at Lewistown. His overall record for those four seasons was
11-29, but unfortunately none of those 11 victories occurred that first year, the Bison ending the season at 0-10. Dusty Lansberry was named Most Valuable Lineman, Steve Harper Most Valuable Back and Judy Gill was crowned Homecoming
Queen.
Forty seasons later, the 2010 team was undefeated in the regular season (10-0) and ended up 13-1 ; winning District 9
over Punxsutawney (26-14) , District 6/9 Regional over Greater Johnstown (28-12) and defeating Shikellamy 42-26 before
falling to eventual State Champion Allentown Central Catholic. Judy (Gill) Nelson and other former Queens were on hand
at the October 8th Homecoming ceremony and assisted in the crowning of Ashley Hoover.

date and participants, for example.

the Class of 1971 Community can

" The Party’s Over …”
Friendship was the word of the evening. The committee was thanked by the enthusiastic turn out. We all certainly had a good time; the food was good; the drinks well mixed and the company talkative!
A special thank you to Dan Mohney for all the PICTURES he took. We also thank everyone that passed on their candids of the evening.
