The video of The Girl From Ipanema , by Stan Getz and Astrud Gilberto is
not a "video" in the MTV sense, but is actually a "clip" from a 1964 movie titled
"Get Yourself A College Girl" that I have never seen or even heard of.
But how about the cast, filled with such '60s icons as Nancy Sinatra, Chad Everett,
Mary Ann Mobley ( Miss America, 1959 ) , Chris Noel and Special Musical Guests
"The Animals", "The Dave Clark Five" ,"The Jimmy Smith Trio" and "The Standells" - whoever they are, as well as Getz & Gilberto. Groovy Baby !
